Pictures on the Pier with PawPaw

On one of our last evenings down there, we went downtown and took some pictures on the pier. (Mom and I were shopping, so we were absent for these :)

One of my favorites...

Strawberry Daquari

Our last night in Florida at dinner PawPaw got Eli a non-alcoholic Strawberry Daiquiri. He LOVED it!! Or at least he loved the whip cream on top!!

We did make sure he shared some with Trey too.

Let's Try and Dunk Daddy

While he's small, Eli is mighty and has big dreams of some day dunking his dad. As for now, he'll just have to keep trying!! :)

Dog Track

Every year we go to the Naples Dog Track. Before we had Eli, Nico and I would go and bet like $10.00, lost it quickly and then just watch. This year we wanted to go for a whole different reason... Eli LOVES dogs. We couldn't wait to see how he would react. It was priceless!!

He was watching so close...

Then he saw them and wanted to make sure we saw them...

Then he wanted to cheer for the dogs...

Here's he's saying "Please Daddy can we take one home!!"

Eli and Mommy

Please don't think I'm vain making a post about me, but I was excited about some of these pictures of Eli and I that Nico and my dad took.

Eli and Trey

Trey is about 5 months older than Eli. Eli's still learning how to play with others. Trey did a GREAT job of sharing his stuff with him. We had a wonderful time watching them play together!!PawPaw and MawMaw helped the two of them bond.

Random Shots of Eli

OK, so at this point you are probably thinking, "Is that woman nuts? How many more pictures does she have? You can tell this is their first kid"

At this point if you want to stop reading, it's OK, I'm not offended (I think some people gave up a while back:)

It's my kid.... I'm allowed...everyone wants to see pictures my kid, or at least I think so. Enjoy!!

Eli and Daddy

These are some of my favorite pics of our vacation.

I love my boys!!

Playing in the Waves

The last 2 days there, the waves were HUGE compared to the rest of the week. A few times, they could have EASILY knocked Eli over, so he was hesitant about going out by himself. So I held him and we went out together. He had a good time!!

More Fun at the Beach

Conquering the Waterwings

Eli loved the pool, but early on he HATED the water wings. Later in the week we tried them again and he liked them. I think he liked that gave him independence... which makes me nervous... only 15 months and he likes to be independent. Wonder where he gets that from????

Here he is kicking... Miss Vicki at swimming lessons would be proud of him!!

Ladies Man

Nico tells everyone we meet that Eli is the "Ladies Man" and most just laugh it off. I've seen him use his charm on old ladies at WalMart, but here on Spring Break he stepped up his game. While he was exploring (see previous entry) he founds some High School girls lying out on the beach tanning. Since he's just a social butterfly (Nico blames my dad and I for that gene) he just tottles on over to say hi. One of the girls had some fun beads on her suit that Eli thought would be fun to grab. The only bad part is that they were on her bikini top... that didn't stop Eli. Luckily the girls thought he was the cutest thing ever so they were cracking up. Nico stood along side with a huge grin on his face like a proud papa. I of course, had to take a picture.

Eli Exploring the Beach

We found out early that while he loves the sand, beach and ocean, he will ONLY go explore any of these with his sandals on. He HATED the feeling of sand between his toes (what's wrong with this kid) But once we figured out every time we went to the beach we had to take the sandals it was a much better trip.

Deep in thought...
