Just Eli...

So you are probably sick of Lake pictures by now, so you'll be happy to know this is the last Lake Entry and I saved the ones of just Eli for last.

I'm starting him early on the importance of taking pictures...

Just kidding, this is Cora's camera, but Eli kept stealing it and taking pictures... maybe this means his mom takes too many??? No way!!

We could play one of those I Spy games called "How do you know Eli's on vacation" You have to look at the picture and determine what gives away it's a vacation pic. Answers below :

The remote in his hand and the powdered sugar ring around his mouth... neither he is allowed at home.... we are SUCH mean parents!! :)

The trampoline was one of Eli's favorite things!!

Surfin' USA

It was an OUTSTANDING (to borrow a word from my husband's vocabulary) week. Time with family is always a good thing.

LOVE YOU ALL!!

Eli and Daddy

Nico wasn't able to be up there the whole week with us. Between swimming lessons, football and DJing... he's pretty busy this summer.

But when he did come up, Eli was SO EXCITED to see him and they had some GREAT times together!!
Jumping In...

Drying Off...

Catching a Ride back to the Lake House...

And I don't even know what they are doing here :)

Extended Family

On Thursday while we were up there, my Aunt, Uncle, Cousins, wives, and kids all came up for some fun on the lake. In total I think there were 18??? Here count us all in the picture...

And it only took Amanda and I like 45 minute to figure out the automatic timer on our cameras... but once we did, it was a good one!!

They went fishing...

Swimming...

And of course, talking :) We don't get to see each other much, so when we do, we have to get caught up!!

Family Pictures...

PawPaw and hid grandkids...

The Hendricks Kids...

3/4 of the Hendricks Family and 1/3 of the Tigulis family = a CUTE picture!!

While we were up at the Lake, it was Kenny's Birthday, so we celebrated it with a Strawberry Pie!

The next 2 are 2 of my favorites of the whole vacation....

Pretty special to see your little brother reading a book to your son...

Got to love your family!!! :)

MawMaw, PawPaw and Eli

This week is like Heaven for my mom and dad... all 3 grandkids for an entire week... a very tired Heaven, but Heaven no less. Eli got to spend some quality time with both MawMaw

And PawPaw!!

I don't know who was more excited about the week... the grandkids or the grandparents!!

Eli and his Cousins

I'm SO THANKFUL for the relationship that Eli has with Keenan and Cora. He sees them often and they all LOVE to play together.

Here's just the boys...

Nico's going to thank Keenan one day for making Eli as tough as he is...

Or is that a hug????

Here is Eli going after Keenan... good thing Keenan's a good sport about it!!

Now for all 3 cousins... Cora, Keenan and Eli

And my favorite...

I hope you heeded my warning...

This is the first of a few installment of lake pictures. Please just keep in mind while you feel like you are seeing like a million.... I still have a WHOLE BUNCH MORE that didn't make it on the blog!! :)

Here are just some general lake pictures.Uncle Kenny took the kids out on the paddle boat.

The big kids LOVED jumping off the raft, so Eli had to go out and see what all the fuss was about.

Get ready... that was just the beginning :)

Still to come...

1. Pictures from our week at the lake-WARNING... they are A LOT of cute ones!! :)

Here's just one to tempt you :)

2. Father's Day- I have a good one of Eli, Nico and Tot and probably my favorite individual picture of Eli in a while

3. Parkview Playground-Eli got to see Samaritan land... don't know who thought it was cooler, Eli or Nico

4. Trip to St. Louis-coming up... sure we'll have a GREAT TIME!!

Practicing for the wedding

A few days ago, we had a bunch of family over to work on Sahsha's shower invitations. While they were here, we watched parts of Andy and Andrea's wedding DVD. Boy did Eli look so small compared to now. :) Here's a picture from the day of the wedding.

He watched the dancing on the video and then Nico picked him up to have them dance together. Well if you know Eli he's at that stage where he wants to do everything ON HIS OWN. So Nico let him down and Eli danced on his own.

He's going to have a BLAST and Jason & Sahsha's reception!! :)

Roanoke Park

A few weeks ago we went to a birthday party at the Roanoke Park. Eli LOVED it. He's at that age where he loves to be outside... especially at a playground.

Nico got in the act too.

My little climber...
